How to Integrate Mercado Pago with OnProfit?

In this article, you will learn how to integrate with Mercado Pago in a simple and efficient way. We will guide you step-by-step to ensure everything is configured correctly.

Prerequisites

Before starting the integration, verify that the following requirements are configured within your Mercado Pago account:

• Card tokenization without CVV
• Active recurring payments configuration
• Anti-fraud disabled

Note: If any of these items are not yet configured, contact Mercado Pago support to assist you with the activation process before proceeding.

Starting the Integration

Inside your OnProfit dashboard, follow the steps below:

• In the left sidebar menu, click on Integrations (Integrações).
• Locate the Mercado Pago option and click on Integrate > Add Integration (Integrar > Adicionar Integração).
• Click on the option I already have a partnership (Já possuo parceria) to proceed.

Authenticating with Mercado Pago

You will be redirected to the Mercado Pago login page. Follow these steps:

• Enter your credentials.
• Confirm your data.
• Accept the presented terms and conditions.

After authentication, you will be automatically redirected back to OnProfit to finalize the process.

Configuring the Integration

Complete the mandatory fields in OnProfit to activate your integration:

• Integration Name: Choose a name that makes identification easy.
• Statement Descriptor: Define how the charge will appear on your customers' credit card statements.
• Enable: Check this option to activate the integration.
• Pix Deadline in Days: Define the expiration period for Pix transactions.
• Boleto Deadline in Days: Configure the expiration period for boletos.

Note: Only enable the Payment Split (Split de Pagamentos) option if you are handling co-productions.

Click Update (Atualizar) to save your settings.

Make sure to register a Pix Key inside your Mercado Pago account to ensure Pix payments are received successfully.
